Action: The artist is located at the center of a dark space with overhead lights pointed directly at him, creating two symmetrical shadows on the floor to his right and to his left. Audience members enter in order to find the artist turning clockwise on the same spot. An assistant picks one of the viewers and offers a ball of coloured yarn. The viewer is encouraged to give one end of the yarn to the artist and continue holding onto the ball, choosing a spot to stand on or moving freely within the space. The artist ties the end of the yarn onto his upper body whilst spinning, allowing for it to be wrapped onto him and form a surface of that specific colour. A line connects the artist and the viewer, until the ball of yarn runs out. At that instance, the artist picks up the other end of the ball and ties again the end onto him. This process is repeated with a number of audience members, each holding onto a yarn ball of different colours. The artist continues to spin for exactly two hours on the same spot, moving his arms in a number of diverse positions. For the final ball of red yarn, the artist ties its end onto his neck, and towards the end, he moves away from the central turning point and walks in extended circles, before exiting the space, leaving behind the red line of the remaining yard.
