The Marathon - Cyprus Performance Art Workshop

Cyprus Performance Art Workshop "The Marathon" organised by Sensorium Space, consisted of ten consecutive workshop days from the 9th until the 18th of September 2016, introduced by artists Dagmar I. Glausnitzer-Smith, Zierle & Carter, PASHIAS and Francesco Kiais, at Point Centre for Contemporary Art located in the heart of Nicosia. This experiential workshop offered participants a unique and intense input/collaboration with five internationally established artists, in order to experience an array of methodologies and processes of performance art, whilst being actively encouraged to delve into their new and unchartered territory.

Performance Laboratory - Artists' Meeting

In a collaboration between .pelma.lia haraki and epitelesis - Performance Art Foundation, the "Performance Laboratory" was designed as a week of intense exchange between artists from diverse practices comprising today's scene of performance, brought together from both Cyprus and Greece. Hosted by Dance House Lemesos, the Performance Shop and the Old Vinegar Factory in Limassol - Cyprus from the 14th until 21st of December 2015, the laboratory functioned as an artist’s meeting, opening up the possibility to converse and pose questions regarding each artist's practice, current state of methodology and future aspirations.

The Marathon - Athens Performance Art Workshop

Athens Performance Art Workshop "The Marathon" organised by epitelesis - Performance Art Foundation, consisted of seven consecutive workshop days from the 14th until the 20th of September 2015, introduced by artists Dagmar I. Glausnitzer-Smith, Zierle & Carter, PASHIAS and Francesco Kiais, at multiple spaces provided by Booze Cooperativa - a cultural hub located in the heart of Athens. By inviting each participant to discover a personal journey, the 'marathon' offered a route into five stages of diverse artistic and pedagogical approaches in order to generate a common territory to meet, share and give space for risk taking, whilst shifting the parameters of personal creation.

Places of duration - Performance Art Studies #38

The educational program "Places of duration" taking place from the 27th of March until the 6th of April 2015, was presented as a collaboration between epitelesis - Performance Art Foundation and PAS - Performance Art Studies, hosted by Cheapart Gallery, Athens School of Fine Arts and the Acropolis Museum, under the guidance of artists BBB Johannes Deimling, PASHIAS and Francesco Kiàis. The immense 'knowledge' held within Greek sculpture, as well as the key role it played in the formation of aesthetic culture, can be seen as the initial basis of holding these studies in Athens, inviting participants into a current framework of growing social instability and doubt, in order to investigate diverse 'moments' of time and duration.
